About The Event
CIVICA Data Science Seminar Series network is organizing an in-person workshop event with the purpose of bringing together the CIVICA community interested in data science and computational social science and give an opportunity to early career scholars from these institutions to interact with each other, learn new data science tools and discuss their ongoing research.
Faculty, researchers and PhD candidates at CIVICA institutions can apply to attend the in-person event organised in Florence, Italy. The cost of travel and lodging will be covered by the individual institution from CIVICA budget allocation under the Snowball Seminar. Other interested participants can attend the seminar sessions online.

The CIVICA Data Science Days will take place on two of European University Insitute campus locations. Day 1 will be at School of Transnational Governance in the city centre of Florence, very closed to Piazza San Marco. Day 2 will be organised at the main EUI campus located on the Tuscan hillside overlooking Florence in Fiesole.
